If you’re deciding between the Q300 and R400, here are the facts:

• The Q300 is the more tame option, having larger rear mufflers. It’s more ideal for those with family members in the car, long drives etc. If you have an aftermarket high-flow Downpipe, we know the Q300 won’t have drone
• The R400 is the rowdier exhaust – cold start, idle, revs, and driving conditions will all be louder with the R400. With the stock downpipe, you won’t have drone, but with an aftermarket downpipe there will be some boom in the cabin.
